Priority Training Days are running throughout 2014. These training days are included in the Mandatory Training Policy as an additional requirement for staff to attend once a year.
The Outer Hebrides Alcohol Drug Partnership (ADP) and Smokefree Hebrides have joined together on behalf of the Health Promotion Department, to do a Health Behaviour Change (HBC) section which alternates between smoking and alcohol. The sessions are 45 minutes long and participants are expected to do the NHS e-learning behaviour change modules, prior to attending.
HBC is about encouraging people to make healthier choices to achieve positive long-term behaviour change for better health and wellbeing among patients/service users and staff.
