Health Behaviour Change Priority Training 2014

HPD ButtonPriority Training Days are running throughout 2014.  These training days are included in the Mandatory Training Policy as an additional requirement for staff to attend once a year.

The Outer Hebrides Alcohol Drug Partnership (ADP) and Smokefree Hebrides have joined together on behalf of the Health Promotion Department, to do a Health Behaviour Change (HBC) section which alternates between smoking and alcohol. The sessions are 45 minutes long and participants are expected to do the NHS e-learning behaviour change modules, prior to attending.

HBC is about encouraging people to make healthier choices to achieve positive long-term behaviour change for better health and wellbeing among patients/service users and staff.
