This highly acclaimed national safeguarding training will be held on 1st October from 10.30am-4.30pm in The Dark Island Hotel, Benbecula.

The training uses a toolkit to support professionals working with children and young people to identify, assess and respond appropriately to sexual behaviours.

It uses a ‘traffic light’ system of green, amber and red to:

• Categorise sexual behaviours
• Increase understanding of healthy sexual development
• Distinguish this from harmfull behaviour

This training is recommended for anyone working with young people and is available free of charge as it is funded by Scottish Governemnt and NHS Western Isles.
