Organisers would sincerely like to thank everyone who took part in the annual Men’s 5K, held in Lews Castle Grounds.

In total 105 men, and boys aged over 12, took part in the second Mens 5K, helping to raise money for the local Hebridean Men’s Cancer Support Group – pictured are a number of the HMCSG members who also took part in the Men’s 5K.

Organisers would like to express their thanks to a number of local companies who have provided sponsorship and assistance towards the event. These include The Hebridean Men’s Cancer Support Group, MacMillan Cancer Support (Stornoway branch), The Stornoway Trust, Scottish Water, Mathiesign, Car Hire Hebrides, Keith and Donna Bray, Mairi MacSween, Catherine MacInnes, Karen France, Amy Macleod all volunteer marshalls, NHS Western Isles and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
