A multi-cultural group has recently been set up to explore the health issues of the many different cultures living on the Western Isles, and to continue with the work previously highlighted in the document Shared Roots: A Model of Community Engagement (draft).

The group is made up from representatives from a number of cultures, plus representation from Health Promotion and Community Education.  A social event is being planned and details will appear when this is finalised.  For further information contact Mary Maclean, Fas Fallain Manager, tel. 01851 702712.
