Health Promotion are working with a wide range of partnership organisations, third sector and statutory to ensure that families in the Western Isles who are eligible, have the opportunity to have a wide range of child safety equipment installed by TIG.
NHS Western Isles are part-funding the ‘Safe in the Home’ scheme with RoSPA after a recent evaluation report from a similar project showed a 29% reduction in hospital admissions due to unintentional injuries in the home for under 5 year olds.
