Health Promotion held a one day course in Stornoway which was delivered by experienced Poverty Alliance fieldwork staff.  The course was aimed at raising awareness of poverty issues and the relationship between poverty and inequalities with management and operational staff who wished to have a better understanding of poverty issues and who would like to identify ways in which they could engage more effectively with individuals and communities facing poverty and social exclusion
