Priority Training Days were run throughout 2014, as part of the Mandatory Training Policy, as an additional requirement for staff to attend once a year.
The Outer Hebrides Alcohol Drug Partnership (ADP) and Smokefree Hebrides joined together on behalf of the Health Promotion Department, to carry out a Health Behaviour Change (HBC) section which alternated between smoking and alcohol. The sessions were 45 minutes long and participants were expected to do the NHS e-learning behaviour change modules, prior to attending.
HBC is about encouraging people to make healthier choices to achieve positive long-term behaviour change for better health and wellbeing among patients/service users and staff. 2014 dates are as follows:
