BHF Treasure Hunt a Success!

BHF Walk
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) Treasure Hunt held in the Castle Grounds in Stornoway on 28th September was a great success with those taking part raising £241 for the charity.

Although it was a pretty damp morning almost 80 participants took part in the event which was led by Pursuit Hebrides. Heart health information, pedometers and refreshments were provided to participants, and the total number of step counts obtained was 372,449. Feedback comments included:

  • “The treasure hunt was really good fun, the kids loved it! Great idea for a fundraiser”.
  • Just wanted to say that this was a great idea and should it be repeated we would definately look to take part in it”.
  • “Thanks for a great treasure hunt”.
  • “Thanks again for a Fab treasure hunt”.

Participants were asked to rate the event 1-5 with 5 being excellent, and the vast majority rated it 5, with a few 4.5s and a couple of 4′s.
