Smoking Cessation Drop-in at Western Isles Hospital

Smoking Cessation Drop-in Clinic PosterSmokefree Hebrides continues to provide its weekly Smoking Cessation drop-in service at the Diabetes Centre in the Western Isles Hospital between 10am-12pm.

 

Staff, patients and visitors are welcome to pop along if they are wishing to make a quit attempt and would like to speak to a Smoking Cessation Advisor for specialist advice.

Making an attempt to quit with the support of a specialist smoking cessation service increases your chances of success four times.

Information is available about:

  • The support Smokefree Hebrides can offer.
  • Nicotine Replacement Therapy (available without prescription).
  • Champix (available on prescription only).
  • Zyban (available on prescription only).
  • Carbon Monoxide testing.
  • The benefits to quitting.

This is a drop-in service so there is no need to book an appointment.  If you prefer, appointments can be made at a mutually convenient time and place.
