Staff from the local Smokefree Hebrides team attended the January Coordinators Meeting and Smoking cessation Network meeting by Video Conference, and were updated on a range of national smoking cessation activities.

The national branding was the highlight of the meetings and proved to be a valuable source of information and detail around the new branding ‘Quit Your Way’.

All attendees are updated on the Local delivery Standards and have the opportunity to share their work and experiences on any relevant matters.

An update was also provided on the new Virtual Learning Site via NHS Health Scotland, which will be a valuable resource for all parties involved, with staff being able to deliver Smoking Cessation Training expected to go live later this year.
