Quit Your Way Hebrides continues to offer clinics across the Western Isles.

Harris – The Harris Clinic is kept busy with referrals and its GPs are fully on board. One GP has pointed out that our smoking cessation service “makes a big difference” and they are “delighted” to have advisors on hand for their patients.

Lewis – On Lewis there are drop-in Clinics run every week, held on Fridays between 10am-12 noon within the Diabetic Centre, Western Isles Hospital. This service is for staff, patients, visitors and contractors to the NHS. No appointment is required.

Uists – Our Uist advisor is available at:

• Lionaclete school, South Uist, on Thursdays during lunchtime offering a drop-in Clinic
• North Uist Medical Practice, Lochmaddy, on Thursday afternoons for a drop-in Clinic
• In addition, appointments can also be arranged for those wishing to attend the Sacred Heart House Residential Home and the South Uist Medical Practice, both in South Uist.

Barra – There is also an advisor in Barra and appointments can be scheduled at a mutually agreed place an time.

For clients who have restricted mobility or difficulty attending clinics Quit Your Way Hebrides can also arrange to visit clients in their homes and offer support by way of telephone, email, and text.
