Health Promotion staff are continuing to work in partnership with Barra Children’s Centre to provide a programme of activities addressing isolation and mental health issues with patients who are residents of St. Brendans Care Home and Cobhair Bharraigh.

Health Promotion are also continuing with the intergenerational project between Saoghal Beag Nursery and Trianaid in North Uist.

This programme encourages intergenerational activities between the local childrens nurseries and the care home patients. It will allow older and younger people who would not otherwise have met, get to know each other and share experiences in a creative and safe environment.
